China and Africa: A New Chapter’

The 2024 edition of the China Conference at the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government was concluded on April 21. Africa Policy Institute experts were invited to the Panel on “China and Africa: A New Chapter” organized the Greater China Society (GCS).

As China positions itself as a key player in global development arena in the new Millennium, it has forged strong ties with Africa’s 55 countries and organizations over the past 20 years, resulting in a dynamic partnership on multiple fronts. China has remained the continent’s largest single country trading partner Africa's trading partner for 15 consecutive years.
